Your eyes and I – A Quadrille

Bjorn is hosting a Quadrille at D’Verse Poets.
And he has prompted us with the word “Eyes”.

This is my very first time writing a Quadrille. Hope it turns out great!

Your eyes and I

My eyes on you: restless and impatient,
my eyes on you sometimes happy and content ,
my eyes have few unshed tears and lots of complaints.
Your eyes have sold dreams for sure;
a dormant blue light in your eyes unfollows the streak of fire;
your arid eyes cultivating a substandard love,
But I need it though.
The substandard love wanders alone in my restless eyes on a lone blue night !
