A peace treaty

White untouched sheet watches its sweetheart cry whose heart is mononymously known as ‘untamed‘.
Ocean and oceanic eyes, no personification today, work for the day has been delayed.
And she has all sort of bitter words lined up on her sweet lips.
Brown bread, cheesy looks and fruity smile are all unequipped.
Land of his heart is barren and infertile.
Finally, she sets herself free from the clutches of a meaningless, tastless relationship, leaving him and his dishonest appearances alone.
Signed love letters in cursive that they ever exchanged are engulfed in flames.
A poet in her heart is thus born at untimely demise of her love life.
Peace ultimately occupies a corner of her broken black heart.
Treaty of hollow heart is for betterment of the either side, the white ocean and brown land have no complaints.

Written for NaPoWriMo 2022 Day 6.

Today, we are challenged to write a variation of an acrostic poem. The acrostic phrase for my poem is “White ocean and brown land finally signed a peace treaty.”
